Steeples

A simple architectural piece or a clear symbol of faith, steeples have long been a key identifier of church buildings.  At one time steeples insured that churches were the tallest and most prominent structure in a town.  From a small country church to a beautifully painted cathedral, steeples signified a place of worship.  Although over time, steeples have become more of an ornament, much like stained glass windows, they are still a beautiful reminder to look up and focus on the Lord.
